Stone description: A two-colour specialty that hides a red ruby growing into a deep green zoisite matrix. Ruby zoisite is mined in two deposits in Tanzania – however, these are now largely depleted, so the price of quality rough continues to rise. In terms of composition, ruby is a gemstone variety of corundum – aluminium oxide. Zoisite is a calcium-aluminium silicate, related to epidote.

About the product: A bracelet made of faceted ruby-zoisite beads with a diameter of 4 mm. Faceting is the process of cutting smooth, polygonal facets. This treatment gives the beads an exceptional sparkle – faceted bracelets are thus elegant accessories suitable even for formal wear. The beads are strung on a double elastic cord with a length of approximately 18 cm; they are stretchy and fit every size.
