Hence its name – the Greek word apatán means “to deceive”. This piece offers beautiful light-blue stones that are translucent, i.e. higher-quality material. It is not easy to obtain rough material suitable for processing, but material from Madagascan mines meets all the required parameters. In terms of composition, it is the most widespread natural phosphate.
