Stone description: As its name suggests, the mineral is coloured in olive-green shades. Over time, olivine has acquired various names - for example peridot, chrysolite or also crusaders' emerald. It is characterised by variable magnesium and iron content, which is why its colour shade also changes. The more iron it contains, the deeper the green. In terms of composition, it is a magnesium-iron silicate.
