Stone description: Ruby and sapphire, two of the most valuable gemstones in a harmonious combination. Both minerals belong to the corundum group and occur in a wide range of colour variations, among the most sought-after being red in ruby and blue in sapphire. The main producers of gemstone raw material are Burma, and the deposits in Sri Lanka are also renowned. Ruby is given its captivating appearance by a red to violet colouration caused by a small admixture of chromium oxide. It also got its name from its colour – rubeus is the Latin term for the colour red. The name sapphire comes from the Greek word sáppheiros, which is derived from the Hebrew sappir – meaning blue in translation. Sapphire is the second hardest gemstone in the world after diamond.

About the product: The set includes a sterling silver necklace, bracelet and earrings with precisely faceted beads of the mineral measuring 3 mm. The jewellery is carefully made in our workshop from sterling silver components of fineness 925/1000. The necklace and bracelet are strung on a strong stainless steel wire and finished with a high-quality sterling silver clasp. The dangling earrings are strung on a sterling silver head pin and finished with a sterling silver fish hook ear wire. The necklace is 45 cm long, the bracelet is 19.5 cm long. We send the jewellery set in gift packaging.

Care: To keep your jewellery beautiful for as long as possible, we recommend removing it before bathing or showering and not wearing it during sports activities. The jewellery should not be soaked in salt or other solutions. To clean the silver components, use only a special cleaning cloth for silver.
