Stone description: Sodalite is usually light to dark blue, or blue-grey, often accompanied by white veins. In any case, it doesn’t lack lustre – from glassy to waxy. Common occurrences include Namibia, Canada and Brazil. In terms of composition, it is a sodium aluminium silicate with chlorine.
