Stone description: Selenite is a shimmering white stone with a silky lustre that enchants everyone with its otherworldly beauty. It is also called the Angel Stone. It is a fibrous and perfectly cleavable variety of gypsum that forms when seawater evaporates in shallow bays and lagoons. The best-known selenite deposits are in Morocco, in the Mibladen area. Selenite is a partially translucent stone sought after for its milky white shades and striking reflections.

A small polished selenite "soap" sized approximately 3–4 cm will win you over with its smooth surface and bright reflections that catch the eye at first glance.
