Stone description: Obsidian, or volcanic glass, forms in a unique way when hot lava cools rapidly in water or on land; the process is so fast that individual minerals do not have time to crystallise. Snowflake obsidian is a true rarity. It was formed approximately 2.5 million years ago during a volcanic eruption in the Black Spring area of western Utah and to this day is found only in this locality. In terms of appearance, on its black base stand out the “white snowflakes” of the mineral cristobalite. In terms of composition, it is a natural form of silica glass.

About the product: A pendant made from a polished pebble is an elegant addition to any outfit. We make our pendants by hand from our carefully selected tumbled stones. For a flawless look and long service life, we use high-quality metal components made in the Czech Republic. The pendant bail is made of nickel-free silver-plated tombac, so the jewellery is suitable even for sensitive skin. The size of the pebbles is approximately 1.5 to 3 cm.

Care: To help your jewellery last as long as possible, we recommend taking it off before bathing or showering and not wearing it during sports activities. Jewellery should also not be soaked in saline or other solutions. Do not use common silver or gold cleaning agents for maintenance.
