Stone description: Obsidian, also known as volcanic glass, forms in a unique way when hot lava cools rapidly in water or on land, and the process is so fast that individual minerals do not have time to crystallise. Mahogany obsidian is a beautifully two-tone brown-black obsidian. It formed through the mixing of two chemically different lavas, one of which was richer in ore microlites, iron or manganese – which caused the black veining. The stone comes from Mexico.

About the product: A pendant made from a smooth tumbled stone is an elegant accessory for any outfit. We handcraft our pendants from carefully selected tumbled stones. For a perfect appearance and long-lasting wear, we use high-quality jewellery findings made in the Czech Republic. The pendant bail is made of silver-plated tombac and contains no nickel, making the jewellery suitable even for sensitive skin. The stone size ranges approximately from 1.5 to 3 cm.

Care: To keep your jewellery looking its best for as long as possible, we recommend removing it before bathing or showering and not wearing it during sports activities. The jewellery should also not be soaked in salt or other solutions. Do not use common cleaning agents for silver or gold for maintenance.
