Stone description: Obsidian, or volcanic glass, forms in a unique way when hot lava cools so rapidly that individual minerals do not have time to crystallize. The black variety of obsidian occurs as irregular beads of volcanic glass enclosed in a host rock made of soft glassy perlite. The stone has an intense black colour and originates in Mexico.
About the product: A necklace made from small smooth chips of black obsidian. Thanks to the irregular shape and the diversity of minerals, each necklace is a complete original – a great choice for those looking for a casual yet elegant accessory with natural charm for everyday wear. The necklaces are 40–45 cm long and finished with a clasp made of silver-plated tombac. The jewellery contains no nickel, making it suitable even for sensitive skin.
