Stone description: Moonstone, also called “měsíček”. This stone is unique for its delicate, wavering shimmer, which intensifies with the correct orientation of the stone during cutting. Fine layers within the stone and internal inclusions create a moonlike sheen with a bluish effect. It comes from India. In terms of composition, it is a variety of potassium feldspar – adularia (or sanidine, more rarely albite).
