Stone description: Larimar, also nicknamed the „dolphin stone“, is considered one of the rarest gemstones in the world. And thanks to its blue colour with white veining, also one of the most beautiful. There is only one deposit of this mineral – in the Caribbean, in a small mountainous area on the island of Hispaniola. In terms of composition, it is a variety of pectolite.
