Product detailed description
Stone description: Labradorite is colourless, or greyish-white to bluish-grey, with a fascinating play of colours known as iridescence – looking at it, you may think of colourful peacock feathers. It was named after the Labrador Peninsula in Canada, where it was discovered in the 18th century. In Europe it can be found for example in Finland; however, Madagascar is currently considered the main source of both raw and processed labradorite. In terms of composition, it is a type of sodic-calcium feldspar – plagioclase.
About the product: A bracelet made of faceted labradorite beads with a diameter of 4 mm. Faceting is the process of cutting smooth, polygonal facets. This treatment gives the beads an exceptional sparkle – faceted bracelets are thus elegant accessories suitable even for formal wear. The beads are strung on a double elastic cord with a length of approximately 18 cm; they are stretchy and fit every size.
Care: To keep your jewellery looking its best for as long as possible, we recommend removing it before bathing or showering and not wearing it during sports activities. The jewellery should also not be soaked in salt or other solutions.
