Product detailed description
Stone description: Labradorite is colourless, or greyish-white to bluish-grey, with a fascinating change of colours, the so-called iridescence – looking at it, you will certainly be reminded of the colourful feathers of peacocks. It got its name from the Labrador Peninsula in Canada, where it was discovered in the 18th century. In Europe you can find it, for example, in Finland; however, Madagascar is currently considered the main source of both raw and processed labradorite. In terms of composition, it is a type of sodium-calcium feldspar, plagioclase.
About the product: Chip bracelets are the best-selling type of mineral jewellery. This one is made of small tumbled chips of labradorite. Each stone has a different shape, so the piece is ideal for those who prefer the charm of randomness over regularity. The bracelets are strung on a double elastic cord with a length of approximately 19 cm. They are flexible and fit every size.
Care: To keep your jewellery looking its best for as long as possible, we recommend taking it off before bathing or showering and not wearing it during sports activities. The jewellery should also not be soaked in salty or other solutions.
