Product detailed description
Stone description: Labradorite is colourless, or grey-white to blue-grey, with a fascinating play of colours known as iridescence – looking at it, you will surely think of the colourful feathers of peacocks. It was named after the Labrador Peninsula in Canada, where it was discovered in the 18th century. In Europe, it can be found for example in Finland; however, Madagascar is currently considered the main source of both rough and cut labradorite. In terms of composition, it is a type of sodium-calcium feldspar plagioclase.
About the product: A long necklace made from small smooth chips of extra-quality labradorite. Thanks to the irregular shape and the diversity of minerals, each necklace is a complete original – a great choice for those looking for a casual yet elegant accessory with natural charm for everyday wear. Long necklaces do not have a metal clasp; their length of 80–90 cm allows for easy slipping over the head.
Care: To keep your jewellery looking its best for as long as possible, we recommend removing it before bathing or showering and not wearing it during sports activities. The jewellery should also not be soaked in salt or other solutions.
