Stone description: Clear quartz is among the most popular gemstones and has been known to humanity since antiquity. It is the purest, transparent variety of crystalline quartz. Under certain conditions – changes in acidity, partial oxygen pressure, carbon dioxide content, or the concentration of hydrothermal solutions – additional minerals can form inside the quartz mass. These inclusions are called inclusions. The offered variety contains tourmaline. Quartz with tourmaline occurs in deposits with a high boron content. Usually it is black tourmaline or brown dravite.
