Stone description: Yellow like a lemon – hence its name from the Latin citrina. Citrine is an attractive variety of quartz, but it is very rare in nature, so citrine is often produced by heat-treating amethyst – heating it above 350 °C converts the originally divalent iron in amethyst to trivalent iron, which leads to a change from purple to yellow. This citrine has the same origin. Citrines processed from high-quality Brazilian amethyst stand out with a golden yellow hue and are among the popular stones that replace natural citrines that are too expensive. In this stone, yellow citrine shades blend with white quartz parts.

The pendant bail is made of silver-plated tombac without nickel, making the jewellery suitable even for sensitive skin. Stone sizes range approximately from 1.5 to 3 cm.
