Stone description: Amethyst is a violet gem belonging to the quartz family. Its colour, in varying intensities, is created by ionizing radiation acting on a small admixture of ferric compounds in the quartz. Amethyst occurs in basalts and forms crystal fillings of cavities that can reach considerable sizes. The richest deposits are in Brazil. This variety is found in the area around the city of Maraba in the state of Paraná. Amethyst from this region boasts large crystals of deep purple colour. Maraba has long supplied the market with high-quality and affordable rough; especially smaller stones are of near-gem quality and are also suitable for faceting.

About the product: A pendant made from a smooth tumbled stone is an elegant accessory for any outfit. We make our pendants by hand from our carefully selected tumbled stones. For a perfect look and long life, we use high-quality metal components made in the Czech Republic. The pendant bail is made of silver-plated tombac without nickel, making the jewellery suitable even for sensitive skin. Stone sizes range approximately from 1.5 to 3 cm.

Care: To keep your jewellery looking its best for as long as possible, we recommend removing it before bathing or showering and not wearing it during sports activities. The jewellery should also not be soaked in salt or other solutions. Do not use common cleaning agents for silver or gold for maintenance.
