Stone description: Amethyst is a purple gem belonging to the quartz family. Its varying intensity of colour is acquired thanks to ionizing radiation acting on a small admixture of ferric compounds in the quartz. Amethyst occurs in basalts and forms crystal fillings in cavities reaching considerable sizes. The richest deposits are in Brazil.
About the product: A bracelet made of faceted amethyst beads with a diameter of 5–6 mm. Faceting is the process of cutting smooth polygonal facets. This treatment gives the beads an exceptional sparkle – faceted bracelets are thus an elegant accessory suitable even for formal wear. The beads are strung on a double elastic cord with a length of approximately 18 cm; they are stretchy and fit every size.
Care: To keep your jewellery looking its best for as long as possible, we recommend removing it before bathing or showering and not wearing it during sports activities. The jewellery should also not be soaked in salt or other solutions.
